Ear Splitting Pliers
Special pliers made of stainless steel for easy and quick splitting of ears when skinning larger mammals.
Application
- Split the ears at the base.
- Loosen the skin in the middle of the ear a few cm in depth.
- Now push the ear splitting pliers into the ear. Squeeze the handles together to loosen the skin from the ear cartilage. From the outside you have control where you are working. With your free hand, it is easy to control from the outside where you want to detach the skin from the cartilage. Work your way up to the tip of the ears.
- Now turn the ears upside down and split with a scalpel still the details in the edge area and at the tip of the ear.
The splitting process of the ear can be excellently controlled and checked from the outside.
