MORTANOL 30 can be used in many work areas where bacterial and mould infestation must be prevented or controlled.
MORTANOL 30 is usually applied at a concentration of 0.1 g per litre of liquor. MORTANOL 30 must not be used in liquors with a temperature above 50°C or a pH-value above 8.0. MORTANOL 30 is always emulsified with 3 to 4 parts of cold water before being added to the liquor.

Example brine treatment of critical skins.

1. -Mix table salt with water in a weight ratio of 500:120 to form a thick slurry (brine).
   
   • Mortanol 30 mix with water in the ratio of 1:4 and add.
   • Formula: "table salt / water + (MORTANOL 30 / water) = 500:120 + (1:4)".
   
   (Example: mix 500 g salt with 120 g water, then add 1 g Mortanol 30 dissolved in 4 g water).
   The ratio "skin weight / brine" should be 3:1 - 4:1.
   
2. Put the skin into this brine and move it intensively for 10 - 15 minutes. The brine should be introduced into the skin by targeted massaging and rolling (movement by hand).
   
3. Hang the product lengthwise on a pole and finish drying. Then roll up the skin and continue processing.
