"Bodmer potter's clay" is a very fine, supple and high-quality modelling clay.
This modelling clay is ideal, for example, for modelling preliminary models or for making master models for later casting with silicone. This type of clay has a grey colour and is red after firing (approx. 960°C). The clay is unchamotized and has the type designation "G".
With the addition of Dextrin, an adhesive modelling clay is produced, which is used, for example, for smoothing wrapped bodies or for detail work in the facial area or on the feet. This modelling clay has a shrinkage of approx. 8% when dry.
