Closure caps for syringes
These are used to close syringes when liquids are to be stored or transported in them.

Closure caps for cannulas
If, for example, the syringes are left inserted when injecting PEG into bird legs (so that they can be injected again later), these can be closed with closure caps. This prevents the preservative solution from flowing out.
