The capybara is the largest rodent in the world. This skull comes from an exceptionally large individual, weighing anywhere from 150 to 180 pounds. They are strictly vegetarian and spend most of the time foraging near ponds eating aquatic plants. 2-part skull (separate cranium & jaw).
