Neanderthal and Modern Human Comparative Pelvis, Femur, Humerus Set
Contains the Modern Human Pelvis, Femur and Humerus (from the Human Male Asian Skeleton SC-092-A) and the Neanderthal Pelvis, Femur and Humerus (from the Neanderthal Skeleton SC-019-A). An excellent, economical way to study the modern Homo sapiens and Homo neanderthalensis . The Neanderthal skeletal elements were reconstructed by Anthropologists Gary Sawyer and Blaine Maley. The skeleton known as La Ferrassie 1, found in France in 1909, is the basis for much of the reproduction, including the humerus and femur. The pelvis is a complicated mosaic drawn from three distinct Neanderthal specimens.
