Cataract Eye Model
Enlarged approx. 3 times, made of SOMSO-Plast®. Can be disassembled into 10 parts.
Four insertable cataract forms are shown: 1. cortical cataract (Cataracta corticalis), 2. nuclear cataract (Cataracta nuclearis), 3. posterior polar cataract (Cataracta polaris posterior), 4. suture cataract (Cataracta coronaria). The eyeball is cut horizontally and the model can be disassembled into 10 parts as follows: Sclera with choroid (3), vitreous body, healthy lens, four cataract lenses and green base.
