Titi Monkey Skull
Collared titi monkeys are found in forests of South America. They live in small groups, generally consisting of the immediate family; the male is heavily involved in the rearing of the offspring. This New World monkey produces many different calls, from morning duets sung by the adult couple to other vocalizations signaling contentment, disgust, or need for caution. They sleep at night in the trees and spend their days looking for food (primarily fruit and insects), affectionately grooming one another, and napping. The titi are primarily arboreal quadrupeds. 2-part skull (separate cranium & jaw).
