Processing:
Cut strips of jute to the desired length. Douse with water in a basin and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Then allow to drain well.
Mix model plaster to a thin consistency. Dip the damp jute strips into the plaster, wipe off at the edge of the vessel and attach to the desired location. Apply the next strip overlapping. If you always overlap the strips by 50%, you will obtain a four-layer laminate in a single pass.
The smaller the proportion of plaster in the laminate, the lighter and more stable the end product.
