For the professional insertion of glass eyes or for modelling original models for later casting with silicone.
.
Inserting glass eyes:If glass eyes are used with this high-quality modelling material, this brings various improvements compared to other materials (clay, polyester putty, Araldite etc.):
- No shrinkage of the glass eye embedding material
- Possible minor position corrections of the glass eyes are possible (heat the eye environment slightly!). This is especially valuable if the eyes are mounted days or even weeks before the skin is covered for dermoplastics!
- The eyes are flexibly embedded, the risk of later stress cracks of the glass eyes is massively reduced
- There is no direct adhesion of the investment material with the back of the glass eye, the risk of color separation (and associated clouding) is reduced
Modeling of master models for later casting with silicone:This modelling clay is suitable for casting with silicone (other types of plasticine prevent the 2-component silicone from setting!). In order to obtain a pleasant consistency of the modelling clay, it is advantageous to preheat it a little - smaller quantities in your hand, larger quantities in the heating cabinet. The same tools can be used for modelling as for working with clay. Plasticine can be used to work on a model for a long time without fear of shrinkage or drying out of the workpiece. This modeling clay can be reused several times.
With petroleum and nitro thinner (mixing ratio 1:1) plasticine can be dissolved and thus the surface for fine work, for example, work with a brush.
