In honor of the Swiss taxidermist Ernst Heinrich Zollikofer (1859 -1930), an illustrated book with 90 fascinating photographs was published in 2020. The author of the new publication is Dr. Toni Bürgin, director of the Naturmuseum St.Gallen, which counts more than 500 Zollikofer preparations among its collection. The photos were taken by the collection photographers Sebastian Köpcke and Volker Weihnhold. Ernst Heinrich Zollikofer is a household name in nature museums from Washington to London.
