Barn Owl Skull
Barn owls are found worldwide, except in extreme northern locals and New Zealand, and are common to North America, Eurasia and Africa. It has a white, heart-shaped face, a round head and no ear tufts, a mostly white underside, a light brown back, and long pointed wings that fold beyond the tail. The owl's primary flight feathers have a soft saw-toothed edge allowing for silent flight. Even in complete darkness, it is able to locate its prey due to an asymmetrical ear structure used to triangulate sound. Our Bone Clones® skull captures the anatomical structure of the original, including the delicate sclerotic rings. 1-part skull (jaw glued to cranium).
