Detachable Pin System
Heavy and very bulky taxidermy mounts are much easier to transport thanks to detachable antler pin systen.
Especially for taxidermy with very wide antlers, such as deer and elk, it makes sense to make the trophies removable, otherwise the taxidermy can hardly be transported. Pedestel mounts (head and shoulder mounts for placement) can also be separated from the pedestal by these detachable pins.
Processing
To ensure perfect positioning of the antlers, it is advisable to drill the holes for the detachable pins before separating the antlers from the skull. Glue the stainless metal parts together with polyester putty or similar material. The supplied plug prevents the glue from penetrating the rectangular tube.

Detachable pin type 1 (for smaller deer and small pedestel mounts)
12 x 12 mm, tube 15 x 15 mm
Total length 130 mm (drill holes min. 17 and 22 mm)
Detachable pin type 2 (for elks, strong deer and medium pedestel mounts)
15 x 15 mm, tube 20 x 20 mm
Total length 170 mm (holes min. 21 and 26 mm)
Detachable pin type 3 (for very strong moose and large pedestel mounts)
20 x 20 mm, tube 25 x 25 mm
Total length 240 mm (holes min. 28 and 34 mm) No longer available
