Release Spray P6
Easy to polish, soft release wax.
Easy to polish, soft release wax for epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester and polymide resins at curing temperatures up to max. 120°C. The fine spray mist facilitates application in complicated, angled moulds. This release spray is CFC-free.
Areas of application
Suitable substrates: practically all smooth surfaces such as plastic, metal and glass, but also porous and absorbent materials such as wood and plaster, if applied several times in full. However, absorbent surfaces are difficult to mould if the resin can flow into the pores and anchor mechanically.
Processing
Shake can well before processing. Spray on from a distance of 20 to 30 cm. In hard-to-reach places, it is also possible to spray at an angle or overhead for a short time.
Treat new moulds 2-3 times, polishing each coat by hand with a soft cotton cloth immediately after application. After complete drying (approx. 15 minutes at 20°C, depending on the thickness of the layer, the film can no longer be polished without streaks. An application on priming wax is possible. Residues in the mould can be removed with petroleum ether or steel wool.
