Thermoplastic deformable plate material, can be used in the preparation e.g. for the fabrication of artificial ear cartilages, for support moulds or smaller modelling work.
Heat the material to approx. 90°C with a hot air blower, on a hot plate, in a heating cabinet or in hot water. It then becomes easily malleable for a short time and is easy to knead. Wet your hands with water to ensure stick-free and comfortable working. Modelling work carried out with Worbla can be continued immediately after cooling.
The processing of Worbla works great on a solid template. For example, it can also be used for support molds when casting. Several plates can be joined together and thus any desired layer thickness can be achieved (the plates are coated on one side with a hot glue and thus adhere to each other without any problems).
For the molding of artificial ear cartilage directly on the original cartilage, we still recommend Auri-Form because of the much longer processing time.
By reheating Worbla can be used again and again and thus corrections to the finished object are possible at any time. Remnants can be kneaded together in a hot state and used for smaller modeling work. Thus, there are no leftovers when processing Worbla.
