Human Female Asian Economy Skull
Cast from the same molds as the regular Bone Clones® skull. While care is taken to ensure the major features of the skull are preserved, the small details of the neural passages may not be opened, making it possible to produce a more economical replica that is still an excellent teaching aide.
Analysis of this human skull suggests it is an Asian female. Features suggesting female include no prominence of the cranial sites for musculofascial attachment, a narrow ascending mandibular ramus, smooth nasion, sharp supraorbital margins, and a rounded inferior border of the mandible. While the totality of features suggest Asian ancestry, nonclassical features include the sharpness of the nasal sill, the less than round palate, and the lack of shovel-shaped maxillary incisors. This specimen also provides an example of a complete metopic suture. 2-part skull (separate cranium & jaw).
