Goliath Frog Skull
The goliath frog skull is from the Bone Clones Goliath Frog Skeleton SC-094. Goliath frogs inhabit swiftly flowing rivers in the dense humid rainforests of coastal Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The large well-muscled hind limbs are almost 2 feet long with large strongly webbed feet. In spite of the adult's huge size, eggs and tadpoles are no larger than that of any smaller species of frog but the Goliath frog's tadpoles are said to grow faster than any other amphibian for 30 days in the middle of their metamorphosis. These frogs eat insects, crustaceans, fish, amphibians, reptiles and small mammals. 1-part skull (jaw glued to cranium).
