Zoology: Bones (Fossil / Prehistoric)

Chevrons are a series of bones on the underside of the tail of reptiles. This Diplodocus chevron measures 11 inches in length. By comparison, the chevron of our 10-foot Komodo dragon skeleton is only 1 1/2 inches long! This is truly a monster.
