Australopithecus afarensis, "Lucy", Innominate, Sacrum and Femur Set
This set of five pieces includes the innominate, sacrum and femur (in 3 parts). These postcranial parts are from the SC-036-A. Australopithecus afarensis A.L. 288-1, the skeleton known as "Lucy", was discovered by Donald Johanson in 1974 in Ethiopia. At 3.2 million years old, this discovery is considered to be among the most significant finds representing early stages in human evolution.
