American Beaver Claw
The American beaver is found throughout North America (though not in the Southwest or Mexico). The lips of a beaver close behind their powerful incisors. Please see our American Beaver skull BC-101E. They use their incisors to fell trees which provide them with food and building materials for the extensive dams and lodges they build. The eyes of the beaver have a nictitating membrane (a third eyelid) which allows them to see underwater.
