The humerus can be used to help establish whether the left or right was the dominant side of a particular individual. Generally, the deltoid tuberosity is a little larger on the dominant side. Similarly, on the radius, the relative size of the radial tuberosity can suggest handedness. The vertical diameter of the humeral head may be used to contribute to sex determination.
