Human Fetal 7 Months Set of 7 Postcranial
The scapula, classified as a flat bone, is triangular in shape. The scapula provides attachments for muscles and forms the shoulder socket, at which it connects to the humerus. Other flat, or tabular, bones include the ilium and the bones creating the top and sides of the skull. This set also includes a mandible, humerus, rib, ilium, femur and tibia. Cast from real bones, these 7 postcranial skeletal elements are excellent representations of human osteology at this stage of late fetal (third trimester) development.
