American crows are smart, social, noisy birds distributed in North America. The nest is built, preferably in evergreen trees, by both parents, sometimes with the help of their one-year-olds. The clutch size is 3-9 eggs. The population of this species increased over the second half of the 20th century. They have a broad diet, from grains, insects, nestlings and mice to carrion and garbage.
