Acheulian, Found in Erg Titersine, Libya. Bi-facial Hand-Axe 250,000 BC.
Titersine is a mountain range on the border between Libya and Algeria. Acheulian (also spelled Acheulean) is associated with the Lower Paleolithic (approx. 2.0mya - 200,000ya) and is characterized by handaxes and cleavers.
