This set of 6 fossil hominid tools includes MS-001 an Acheulian Banded Flint Hand-Axe from southwest Morocco; MS-002, a Mousterian Neanderthal Triangular Bi-facial Hand-Axe; MS-003, a Mousterian Bi-facial ovate point on a Levallois Blade; MS-004, a Mid-Acheulian Cordiform Bi-facial Hand-Axe; MS-005, a Mousterian 40,000 year old scraper; and MS-006, an Acheulian tool. Acheulean tools (approximately 2.0 MYA-200,000 YA) are associated with Homo erectus. Mousterian tools are dated at (1 00,000-40,000 YA).
