Life-size model.
Model size: approx. 4.2 cm (depending on mounting). Shell size: 3.4 cm. Habitat: Plant-rich, calm, even temporarily dry lowland waters. It lives partly amphibious. Special feature: Blood containing hemoglobin. Empty houses popular as hibernation sites for water spiders. Does not get along in direct neighborhood with the pointed mud snail.
