The magellanic penguin comes from southern South America and is a mid-sized penguin. Outside of Antarctica, the magellanic penguin lives part of the year in a huge colony in Punta Tombo, a reserve, established in 1979. The colony reaches a size of over 500,000. 1-part skull (jaw glued to cranium).
